Our projects develop from our fields of interest and just as most scientific projects they need funding. Our fields of interest are: the analysis of observed multi element climate data (climate variability and extremes); statistical and dynamical climate modeling; climate change scenarios; impact assessment and field theory.
To make it more tangible, there are projects dealing with the evolution of storminess in Europe and Canada, for which we’re working on a follow up. Others are devoted to interdisciplinary research involving ecosystems (in particular how they may adapt to climate change) or dynamical downscaling by the use of the community model of German climate research (CCLM). You may find it worthwhile to have a look at our publication list.
